From Our First Gym to Building Fitness Projects Across Bulgaria

The GymBro story began long before the company was founded. While still a student in Harmanli, founder Svilen Kolev and a group of friends created a small training area in an attic. One bench, a few weights and a desire to grow marked the beginning of his journey in the fitness industry.

In 2011, Svilen opened his first gym. Being involved in every aspect of its operation gave him practical insight into how equipment should be selected and arranged, what members look for and which solutions deliver genuine value for the business.

The business gradually expanded from buying, selling and refurbishing fitness equipment to importing professional equipment and delivering complete fitness facilities. Today, every project benefits not only from supplier experience, but also from first-hand knowledge of a gym’s day-to-day operation.

Today, GymBro operates more than 5,000 sq. m of warehouse space and helps build fitness facilities throughout Bulgaria. We develop partnerships with manufacturers and companies from different countries and attend leading international trade shows to follow advances in equipment and the fitness industry.

We approach every project individually. We consider the concept, available floor area, target users and planned budget so that your investment matches the facility’s real needs and avoids unnecessary costs. We assist with equipment selection and layout, partial or complete refurbishment of existing facilities, and the supply of spare parts.
